Lo inevitable

Por un largo rato se quedó viendo cómo daba vueltas, "¿qué haces?" le pregunté, “estoy esperando que no suceda lo inevitable”, contestó. Me pareció chistoso y me reí, sin embargo al mismo tiempo me hizo pensar en la muerte, en la muerte de ella que aún no ocurría pero que irremediablemente llegaría; o tal vez la mía. El paisaje intra-muros (intra micro-ondas), reveló mi paisaje interior; el de mis miedos y preocupaciones. (video experimental)

She stood watching a cup of coffee going around and around in the microwave one day. "What are you doing?" I asked her. "I'm watching this hoping that the inevitable won't happen."she replied. It was funny and I laughed, but then I started thinking about death, her death that even though it had not yet happened, it inevitably would arrive, and maybe even my own. The indoor landscape, inside the microwave, revealed my own interior
landscape, that of my anxieties and fears. (experimental video)
